The bloody "Beatnik Bandits" have been infringing upon our rights to free speech. We have grown weary of their Contumacy-thieving ways. Instead of combatting our arguments with a little bit of reason, hoodlums cower and try to suppress our ideas. Indeed, the left has led the trend for a "free speech for me but not for thee" mentality.
Contumacy, the alternative campus journal of politics and culture, is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the Phantom Censors, who are guilty of pilfering and trashing thousands of copies of our publication.
Why would the Beatnik Bandits resort to such spineless silencing tactics, especially considering the left vehemently claims to champion First Amendment freedoms? Perhaps the perpetrators have been intimidated by the fact that Contumacy, UT's premier conservative journal, was recently named as one of the top ten independent student newspapers in the country. Or maybe the Censors are intellectually incapable of constructing a single legitimate argument in opposition to our ideology.
In the spirit of the muckrakers, Contumacy encourages the investigation of abuses of power and privilege, which betray the ideal of a liberal education. It is a downright shame that the Beatnik Bandits would deploy such a juvenile scheme and seize our constitutional liberties. Persons with information regarding this catastrophic affront to our basic freedoms by the Beatnik Bandits may contact us through our website, www.contumacy.org.
With revelry in your spinelessness,
