Randy Cooke a Talented Writer
Dear Editor,
Randy Cooke's article on affirmative action was very informative and a delight to read. He analyzed the situation with clarity and the determination to move ahead without racial preference policies. Mr. Cooke also presented a very convincing argument in support of vouchers; it really is important to emphasize school choice these days when our current education system is failing our children. It was a pleasure to read Mr. Cooke's article, and I look forward to reading more from him in Contumacy soon.

She's "Dangerous"!
Dear Editor,
I cannot believe that you gave Sarah Weddington the "Adolf Hitler Lifetime Achievement Award." The audacity! Ms. Weddington has fought for women's rights all her life. You, Ms. Mohammed, are the most dangerous enemy of women's rights on this campus. Your anti-choice position is truly anti-woman, and I suggest that you leave the newspaper and political business and go to a domestic setting, where you belong.

She's a "Traitor" too!
Dear Editor,
How does it feel to be a traitor? I can't believe that you, being a woman, are pro-life. How selfish you are, wanting to take away rights of your own gender. This is the '90's, Sonia, not the '50's when women would die from back-alley abortions. If it wasn't for Sarah Weddington, my life would be very different now. I'd have some parasitic kid's nose to wipe, and I wouldn't be able to go to Graduate school. The government needs to keep its laws off my body, and you, Sonia, need to stop infringing upon my God-given right to choose.

Contumacy "Provocative"!
Dear Editor,
Your March 1998 cover was so provocative! I got chills looking at the parallels between slavery, the Jewish Holocaust, and the abortion holocaust.
It really is eerie to think about the similarities between what happened to the Jews and what is currently happening today to the unborn. How dare the liberals rant and rave about granting each and every group special rights, except for when it comes to unborn children. Please keep fighting for those who can't speak for themselves! You've really inspired me to speak up about the horrors of abortion, and I know that we're going to change some hearts and minds regarding this moral issue. Thanks again for such a hard-hitting journal.

Editor's reply: We sincerely appreciate the support, Mark. And thanks for the generous donation.
Let's Slaughter the Poor!
Dear Editor,
Are you nuts? Do you think that Sarah Weddington's goal was to kill kids? I view abortion as necessary to curb overpopulation. Sure, the fetus does have characteristics similar to those of humans, but that's irrelevant. The fact is that we need abortions for the poor people who can't even take care of themselves. We live in a world where the fittest survive, and I doubt that a welfare queen can handle having more kids than she does fingers. Abortion is the best solution for those in poverty, so don't be so quick to criticize this form of birth control.

Editor's reply: To suggest that we ought to eliminate classes of people based on their socioeconomic statuses is the most racist and eugenic viewpoint in existence. A child is not any less of a child simply because he may be poor. It's elitist and downright evil to advocate aborting disadvantaged children.
