Back-Handed Compliment for Contumacy
Dear Editor,
What a shame that the best publication on campus is so stridently right-wing. Strange times.

Yet Another Fan Letter
Dear Editor,
Thank you for continuing to bash the left. I look forward to your paper each month and sent copies to a couple of friends back home. I have to be careful of where and when I read it because I always crack-up at the wrong time. In biology class last week I laughed out loud when I saw who you had as the American Icon -- Eric Cartman. People must have thought I was crazy. Not only do y’all inform and enlighten, but you also entertain. That is cool. I wish you guys were in charge of the Daily Texan.

White Male Says White Privilege is Crap
Dear Editor,
Dr. Robert Jensen is an idiot. This guilt-ridden white liberal makes me sick with his apologetic crap. As a white male, I don’t think so-called “white privilege” exists. I’ve worked damn near full time all throughout college to pay for my education and my possessions, and I really resent Jensen’s ridiculous notion that I have what I have because I’m white. Plain and simple: you get ahead in this country by working hard, not whining for entitlements. Be appreciative, not apologetic for what you have, Jensen, so quit your whining.

Hey Ruth, Quit Your Whinin’, Woman, and Get Your B*tch Ass Back in the Kitchen!
Dear Editor,
I am appalled by your decision to feature Eric Cartman as an “American Icon.” Cartman is a jerk that perpetuates the existence of the patriarchal system that taints our society. Women shouldn’t be getting their “b*tch asses in the kitchen to make pie.” Instead, they should be fighting for the rights to have control over their bodies, careers, and sexuality. I would hope that in the future you would show some sensitivity toward women instead of continuously debasing them.

Propagandists R Us
Dear Editor,
Do you know what propaganda is? The definition is Contumacy. Never have I seen such irreverence for all that is humane and socially just. Your disdain for women and minorities is totally disgusting and does nothing but inflict pain upon all men and women, regardless of color. We are all spiritual brothers and sisters and should strive for harmony and social equity. We’ll never prosper with your narrow-minded, intolerant opinions on every topic under the sun. Some sensitivity training would do you good.

Want Some Prozac?
Dear Editor,
Why don’t you do something constructive with your time instead of being an absolute b*itch? Your anti-woman, anti-choice, anti-affirmative action views are a slap in the face to those of us who fight to be free from your “holier than thou” attitude. Last time I checked, you were a woman AND a minority, so it’s even more ridiculous that you’d be such a f*cking sellout. All you are is a pawn of the right. You really hinder the cause for women and minorities by being so f*cking conservative. Are you by chance married to Uncle Tom?
